I have worked on an idea and now wanted to evaluate if there is interest. For this I intended to write my university an email.
My Idea in Short Format:
Because of Corona, many students can't do their labs. I want to create virtual labs with the same setup you can easily change and adapt new experiments. You will be able to do it either in VR aswell as on the PC. In the future additional features like visible magnetic fields for learning purpose should be implemented.
My first question is:
Who should I write it to ?
- Ther person responsible for the labs?
- the person responsible for finances?
- the head of department ?
Second:
Should and how do I ask for money for the development ? While I do have some programming knowledge I couldn't do it in a timely manner.
What words should I use? Not that the university thinks I want to do a student project or similar.
