I currently have the usual average life of a rat running the rat race.
I'm a manager in a forwarder international company. I get an average salary, enough to live a not-too-poor life.
But there are a lot of problems and I don't know how to escape.
I'm arguing with my girlfriend because I'm always at work: last week I worked an average 15 hours per day because the customer had urgency.
I cannot ask for a raise, because company CEO always claim that "because of Covid we have to help each other and we cannot give raises".
But I expect to have even more work, that means more working hours, and the only thing that will raise is the risk of break up with my Gf.
I feel trapped.
I'd like to be an entrepreneur. And I have some good skills in copywriting. But it's quite impossible to start something valuable.
Because I live in Italy.
Have you ever see those posts where an image said: "you can pay 999 $ to start a biz or to buy an iPhone"?
Well, in Italy that's not true. 999 $ are just enough to pay the cheaper accountant.
If you want to be an entrepreneur, you must open a fiscal position, pay 10.000 euros during the first year of business, even if you don't make any profit. There are current average taxes for an ecommerce project.
Then you have to sum up suppliers, website maintenance and so on.
And time. I don't have time in my life, even to stay together with my gf.
I feel trapped. And I don't have ideas on how to escape.
This post is a real helping request. A scream for help, to take back my life.
