I have a contact that runs a marketing company and one of the services he offers is door to door.
We have spoken briefly about putting together a solution for the service business I am starting but are struggling to come to an agreement on the best avenue.
1.Pay per lead, no matter how strong the lead is.
2.Pay per every quote we give.
3.Pay an amount or percentage of business revenue.
number 3 obviously guarantees profit. The problem here is he wants a high percentage of the job profit. Like 80%.
With that I first thought "I don't want to be a busy fool"
Then I realised that his guys are going to be speaking to roughly 400 people a week each. In a target area of my choice. They will be distributing my leaflets. Plus I would never have had that job if it wasn't for them.
Then when you take into account that I can get repeat business and refferals off those clients. Seems like a really good deal.
Am I looking at this in the right way? Or is 80% silly.
Is option 1 or 2 better.
