I am not sure what I should pick.
Right now I have a business that has chances of becoming a huge succes. The mountain is really really big if I can make it work.
The problem however is that I found out that I really don’t love the sector and the business model. I’m in the installing/sustainability sector and to be honest I hate the technical stuff that comes with it. Besides that, the business model relies on employees doing work and then getting paid by the customer when they finish the work correctly. It’s not really scalable.
The thing is: my business is profitable now and I fought really hard for it. Before this business I had other things that werent profitable and I kept switching. So in some way I guess it would feel like a failure if I switch again.
It’s not really about the money basically as I make good money now. I just rarely feel happy about my life these days. I do cool stuff and all, but I don’t really get the joy out of it anymore.
I’m not sure sure whether switching business would have an effect on this, but I just really long for a location independent business (ecom).
Basically what MJ said about the passion loop that you will develop a passion for something if it works is not really true to me. It works, but I don’t like it.
What do you suggest? Is there something i’m missing?
