Hello! I am a dog trainer, who is moving to the fast lane.
I do agility competitions, frisbee, and many other dog sports. I was at a trial in Miami and saw a problem that needed a solution.
Dogs are crated in between their turns. Almost everyone puts some kind of cover over the dog to prevent them from barking at every dog that walks by and also to have them rest more. The dogs get hot in these crates with blankets over them, and the little fan almost everyone has, does not keep the dog cool enough on 75-90 degree days.
I am inventing an active cooling cover for the dog crates. I am going to use my own prototype and see how people react to it. I can test this with my own dog. Eventually I can set up a booth very cost effectively at shows and sell from there to start. This is much better for me than making smoothies, because I already go to these events. I also need to solve this problem for myself which creates motivation. I know a lot about dogs and dog sports so I can communicate effectively and know the needs and wants.
Dog sports people will buy anything to help their dogs. There are thousands of events all over the world.
