First I'd just like to thank MJ for writing a great book, and leading me to this forum! And I've been reading and learning mainly. Since I haven't formally introduced myself, I've included a little about myself :smug2:
A little bit about myself, I recently completed my Military contract. During the time I was deployed in Afghanistan, I took my downtime as an opportunity to read, I always hated reading, but one day my roommate who was twice my age gave me a copy of Rich Dad Poor Dad and he said I might like it, during and after reading this, it literally flipped my whole world upside down. At this moment in time I had no direction in my life, and I've always had this lost feeling and I had no word to describe it.(Later I found out that the word I was looking for was Purpose). This quickly changed as the Rich Dad book gave me a whole new viewpoint on life.
It was a storm after that, I scoured for information, I read and read. I found out I didn't hate reading. I just hated reading the stuff schools fed me.
Fast forward to now, I've finally started taking action and a couple of nights ago completed my first project.
While I was deployed, I was always was thinking what can I do? What can I offer?
It comes back to one of my favorite movies, Yes Man starring Jim Carrey. If you don't know, it was about a very negative person, who changed his life by saying "Yes" to everything. Well in one of the scenes he was at a local Starbucks and he started ripping down tabs of numbers for personal services(Guitar lessons, language etc.) and started learning them all.
Now this sparked my interest, I want to promote job growth and get people's services out there. Before you say yeah but there's Craigslist and Backpage already. When I look at those sites, it looks very sloppy, and it's wide range of categories with ghosting ads.
That's why I came up with MyPersonal, it caters to personal services. It has better profile functions for it's members who are posting ads, it integrates google maps, and no ghosting posts, etc.
I offer 2 options right now, Free Listing but your ad expires after 7 Days(which also keeps the ads fresh), and then the Premium Listing which gives you more options and time, click here to see them, it's $7.95/month. The entire site is also free for everyone to view. Unlike Sittercity or other similar businesses that charge to contact it's members.
As of right now, I've been a 1 man team and just finally completed optimizing the site. It's up and running now.

But even the greatest players in the world know they can't do it by themselves, they need a team. The right team.
Basically I'm asking for some help, even partnering up is ideal. Just need some sweat and dedication with the same focus and goals in mind.
