Hello, My name is Diae, A 22 years old computer engineer student from Morocco. While I am not an entrepreneur, here is how I got here:
The me a month ago was your average lazy (very lazy) guy in his early 20's who just wanted a degree and get a job, a side walker in MFL description.
even thought I am lazy, I never found it difficult to understand programming, I had a strong drive for learning pre university which faded away overtime, because by then there was no challenge, I was recycling at school what I learned at home years before. I was (arrogantly) confident in my programming skills and "how fast I can code" using snippets and shortcuts no one else around me knew. New term begins, and this new teachers asks this one question, "provided with only notepad and no internet" you have to fix an issue in a server, can you do it? now, as small and arbitrary of a question this might sound, that was "the slap" that flipped a switch in my head, all of a sudden I felt like everything I was proud about was worth nothing, and in that situation I wasn't gonna solve anything. After few hours of intensive brain activity, it finally hit me, am wasting my life, going to school doing nothing at home with a disastrously disorganized sleep, that was my "is this how my life has gotten?" moment. I started off by fixing my sleep habit and managed to fix it from 9:30 pm to 5am, it was hard but I pulled it off till this moment, I started making myself busy at home instead of wasting time on social media and video games, I started, for the first time in my life, to read books, and my third book happens to be the millionaire's fast lane which m close to finishing, this book was my second "slap" and started to reconstruct my reality. I am starting to see things that I never knew existed, I find myself eager to learn new things as if I was never lazy in my life! And I feel Amazing. The forum was mentioned few times in the book and I decided to give it a go, I want to be around people that will push me forward, thanks for having me here!
