Howdy,
I'm from southern Ohio, and possibly a bit late to the fastlane at 39, but nonetheless I am ready to go. I have been a wage earning respiratory therapist for 18 years and a year and a half ago I decided it was time to swing for a homerun and bought a vacant restaurant, real estate and all, and have been plugging away at entrepreneurship ever since.
I will say that I have made more connections and learned so much more than I have the past 16 years working for a wage. The potential in entrepreneurship is limitless, the downside is known, it's zero, but the upside is limitless. So much so, it makes me dizzy to think about. Coming from years of the known caps on income from working in a sheep job it brings home how limitless entrepreneurship is.
Oh, and I promise I won't ask any dumb questions other than....do I need to go to college???
