I probably shouldn’t indulge in talking about myself. I’m sure I’ll oust myself as a weird person, but I’ve been told to introduce myself so here I am.
My username is Creative_Name, but you might as well call me Mr. Halfway. Sorta there but kinda not describes who I am. I’m a male, I’ve just turned 21, and I aim for a balanced meal with little to no sugar. Exceptions are made when my mother wants to feed me something sweet despite my protests.
I live with my parents in a high-rent town, I have a job making $23/hr (will become $50/hr in five years) to help my family and my own endeavours, and I play games even though I know I shouldn’t.
I have a small problem.
Comfort.
After dropping out of university (much to my parents’ disappointment) and graduating a cheap college course in three months, I’ve landed my current job. Unlike my previous jobs, the people I work with are actually pleasant, the pay is more than fair, but the drive is an hour (I’m quickly acclimating). Before this I was sorta trying the fastlane path because the shitty environment gave me motive. Now I’ve done as my mother and father wanted and I got peace in the house. I’m too comfortable and I know if I stop running I’ll inevitably sink into the custard, never to see true freedom shown to me by MJ, my cousin, and other role models.
I’m giving in to a lot of things I know I shouldn’t and this is my way of stopping the thinking train.
