Hey guys n gals --
I've been busting my a$$ off for the past 8-9 months putting about 3-6 hours a day (in addition to working full time) reading as much as I can about business, entrepreneurship, starting a blog, networking online, etc.
My blog Milk the Pigeon. Live life Boldly. I originally started because I noticed a huge trend in 20 somethings feeling that life is meaningless, being stuck in the rat race, etc.
So my original intention was to create a system to help them fix both things.
Then I realized that it's a little bit intangible, far too vague, and a little too high on Maslow's hierarchy.
My problem now is that I don't really know what to start a business about.
I mean, Ideally I wanted to create a course like this:
An online class with 10/20/30 modules, a beast of a course that would be constantly updated and re-vamped, tweaked, and relaunched 3-4 times a year.
I know several people doing that and making serious bucks (mostly in well-established fields like blogging, getting more traffic, teaching social media strategy to the un-savvy).
And my mother is a successful business owner taking a marketing class that is $20,000 (!!!) that the woman pretty much just re-launches, updates, and re-launches. She apparently provides a ton of value because people speak very highly of her and apparently she has a good track record of bringing clients to 7 figure incomes.
So I like this model of investing into a product that can be leveraged and re-launched online over and over, and getting more exposure/marketing via speaking at conferences, etc.
My question now is: how can I be sure of what people want online? How can I research that demand so I can get the chance to change the lives of a million people for the better?
Thanks for your time guys, I appreciate any input.
