I thought of making a website for tennis with a directory of all clubs, private lessons and so on in different cities. I know it's a tough market but it something I enjoy and thought might be useful to others. I don't know if this is a good idea and would like some advice. My niece plays tennis and I have been taking her all summer to her lessons. Her parents are not too happy with the current club she takes lessons at and asked me to look into other clubs. It has been so time consuming trying to find all the clubs in our area, pricing, etc. I was thinking of putting up a directory website sort of like a craigslist feature but for tennis where you can click on your city and have all the tennis schools and pricing listed so you don't have to do all the work of trying to locate all the schools in the area. I could have a blog up with articles about tennis, maybe throw up a store eventually with tennis products, or make money through ads on the site for everything tennis related. I'm wondering if I would need permission to list all the clubs for each area on my site or if I should add certain paid features...maybe feature a certain club each month or players. I love playing tennis and just got this idea when I had a hard time finding all the schools in the area. I thought it would be great to have everything all in one place and could add a bunch of other tennis related features down the road. Any advice would be appreciated!!
