So someone here on the forum recently asked the question... "who here is actually a millionaire" ...so I guess Ill bite and answer since no one else really wants to... IM A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE!!! ... :coolgleamA:
Ill even tell you about my journey to millionaire status... here it goes!!!
It was a cool day in Autumn and I was home and bored so figured I would take a cross country journey with a few friends. My goal: To start with $1500 and work my way up the ladder of the real estate chain to millionaire status.
Luckily for me though i had a great job which paid me everytime I would GO. I immediately started searching for properties all over the United States in order to get the best rates. Worked perfectly, and i bought my first properties on PENNSYLVANIA AVE, ST. CHARLES PLACE, and MARVIN GARDENS. Before you know it, I was buying more and more, I even started developing them with HOUSES before finally expanding them into HOTELS after making enough passive income from rent (passive income is Great! :icon_super: ).
I also spend a lot of time negotiating with the BANK for the deeds of properties whose owners had defaulted on payments/morgaged off their homes etc. I made a killing doing that, especially if I was able to buy the property directly from a desperate owner who is cash-stricken and in a tough situation. :smx1:
Ofcourse I wasn't satisfied and wanted more so I decided to delve into the utilites field and bought an ELECTRIC COMPANY. The income was great but could be better if I also acquired WATER WORKS, the local water company. The owner refused to sell however since he claims that my income with owning both utility companies would be 10x what Im already getting now. smh :smxE:
That was a lost but who said living the rich life is all glitter and gold. Afterall, I do have to pay LUXURY TAXES on a regular basis (it sucks to be rich sometimes). :sigh:
So thats my life and how I made it to millionaire status. On any given day, you can see me driving around the BOARDWALK in my old school whip ... its an an expensive area to pass through though, but I own it so who cares. lol
Let me not brag though because even though I may be a millionaire, I am still cheap at heart. I sometimes take advantage of FREE PARKING and will take the RAILROAD a few times. I must say that the railroads are not worth it at all though since they are all owned by the same guy who ofcourse jacks the prices up. smh (monopoly at its best).
In my life, I have taken a lot of CHANCES. I even landed in JAIL a few times.... (sad times) :bgh:
Anyways, I got to go now. This monopoly board game is just too exciting for me to be sitting here telling you about it.
