I'm taking recommendations on Wordpress shopping carts that aren't a PITA

If you've personally set up your own wordpress shopping cart and can say that the shopping cart plugin that you used wasnt a total pain in the a$$, I would love to hear from you. My wife WAS trying to set up woocommerce and gave up once she reached the part where she had to configure sales tax I think. If we need to try woocommerce again, or if you have another shopping cart that you personally love for its ease of use, let me know. I am selling a few items that require some drop downs for customization. Think along the lines of ordering a t-shirt and needing a drop down to indicate the size and color of the t-shirt.
