A year ago, I quit my well-paid job.
I just couldn't bear the slow lane - even though I was one of the best salesmen at the company, with much status and respect, I always knew I had to be an Entrepreneur. I mean, we only live ONCE, for god's sake. There's no way I'm going to waste 8 hours of my 24, in my 20's, doing this shit. I just called my boss and quit - never even came back to pick up my stuff.
Jobless, with a handful of online "entrepreneurship" failures(eBay dropshipping, self-publishing, and whatnot), I started freelancing. Just so I can pay my rent.
I actually had no tangible skills to offer as a freelancer. I just had some experience with those online ventures, so I thought I'd offer services that people need in this niche - after all, I'm one of them, and I know exactly what itches they need to scratch.
I've read The Millionaire Fastlane , and while I had "Unscripted " on my library, I never actually read it cause I thought it's gonna be quite similar. Yesterday, I read the part where MJ says "when the barrier of entry is low, there is a hungry crowd to feed". Unintentionally, that's EXACTLY what I did!
My business took off so fast. I'm breaking my income records month after month, and I'm scaling my business both ways - I acquire new customers every day, and I hire people to handle the tasks I don't like to do. At this point in time, my only focus is to bring more clients to the business. I literally do nothing but making money. And scaling.
Doing this, while reading "unscripted ", have opened my eyes so much.
I now KNOW that I would never have a job again. Even if something happens and my business will shut down, I know that I can generate money by fulfilling a demand creatively, rather than trading my precious, finite time for money.
MJ, if you're reading this, I want you to know I'm so grateful for you writing this masterpiece. Now that I make 3x than what my friends are making, I really don't want to teach anyone what I'm doing. Not because I want to "keep it to myself"...but because people will just won't get it. They prefer to live blindly and do whatever the herd does. Why the F*ck should I risk my reputation for haters who wouldn't get it in the first place and write a book about it?
I truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us, your book is worth 10 times more than a college degree.
