In the rut, but not for long....

Hello everyone...

My name is Larry, I live in a small town in SE Idaho. ( originally from Phoenix )
I have been lurking on here a few weeks, bought the MFL book, finished it in two days..
All I can say is the first 100 pages fit me to a T. I think I fit in as a hybrid slow laner / side walker...
I spent whatever I had...if I didn't have it I financed it....
So much of the book was familiar to me....I also, tried the " one tiny little add " , the "house with no money down" MLM's
I read the books about how to make deals, and dads, etc...
and kept spending......

Then one day the phrase "just one away from....." came true. ( all of them at once..)

I had to transfer to keep my corporate dead end job, wife had twins ( two months premature, 1 month in NICU), recession...etc, blah blah...

To make a long story short, my house of cards came tumbling down, a year later.....Chapter 7.
Lessons learned.....

I am now ( or was) in a rut, still working my dead end corporate job, ( I know it is a dead end job because my ignorant boss told me so!!! ) living in a rented townhouse with two 5 year old girls....time for something to change...

So let the process begin.......!!!!!!!

I cant quit the job....not yet. ( as much as I would like too)
So must be very passive and eventually generate enough income so I can quit this job.
I basically have narrowed it down to two general platforms... produce an app, design a website....

Neither of which I have any idea on how to do.....so time to hit the books!!!..

I just wanted to introduce myself and to say Hi to all of you, and welcome any advice you might have...

I also want to thank MJ for his book, I feel like it was written specifically for me....
