Hi guys, Im new to Fast Lane so go easy on me...I have been referred by a close friend after watching him discuss ideas and contribute to the community I thought I needed to be a part of this.
I am a physiotherapist and for a long time I have worked at a clinic on a salary. The business I worked for would pay me an hourly rate and take the full payment from clients, a very standard business model that works extremely well for the owner and not so great for myself and the other employed therapists. I have an idea to create a website that would allow myself and other unhappy, underpaid physios to book our clients in directly and work for ourselves rather than somebody else. I have a lot of industry connections and could easily get plenty of physios on the website from day dot, plus I know lots and lots of physios that own and run there own business. Even if I did 2 clients a day ($120 per session) it would still pay me better than working at the clinic. As a phsio that worked for myself I could market myself through the website and get clients that way. I wonder though, rather than just targeting myself and other physios (and have them pay a small membership fee) How I could incorporate other clinics such as my own so the clinic would benefit as well as the individual therapists...? Can anyone help me or discuss ways to incentivise small clinics to be part of my website so A)they would allow there therapists to be booked by my website AND B) potentially even be it as an employment requirement they were a member so they got more clients?!
