Okay, it's time to speed up and engage. Wish me willpower.
I am 28 and never been in slowlane. Although I've been a mathematics student at university, served in Polish Navy, worked at automotive factory and done some social games coding, it was rather a big journey through the Wilderness of Life than anything serious.
But now, after seeing many bad and evil things, I desire to build my own empire.
I know programming very well, understand advanced mathematics and also am fast learner.
Therefore I chose game development, because it is a kind of software that will always be popular and relatively fun to make. I have one cofounder working with me at the moment (he is designer and artist) and we are currently finishing our first game. Little puzzle game.
Our plan is to bootstrap by selling games and funding further production of increasingly more complex and playable titles. We don't want to borrow any money.
Meanwhile, I'm building our web presence in Twitter, Reddit and Facebook communities relevant to our industry. So far, I'm slowly increasing the number of "followers", though am not yet able to estimate their quality.
Our closest milestone: release video with gameplay elements and get to the Steam.
