For the past few months I have been thinking about building this information service application and business where an app user is connected with a location for a particular purpose. This application will provide the locations with a very focused marketing campaign and most importantly ADD VALUE to their business. I know that this could easily be monetized with a monthly subscription model which would allow the locations to post their information. As I am still in the development of the idea and have a well vetted and domestic developer ready to make it, I am trying to do my best for a pre-release marketing success.

What is the best ROI way to grow a Facebook page and get those fans to you website to build an email list?
Is it okay to reach out to the press before you even have a product available?
