I am interested in entering the internet business world but I am not very good with computers. I am young but for some reason I never really took to technology. I would like to learn more about how to utilize the internet for money making ie. eBooks, websites, eCommerce but I do not know much about it beyond a concept.
My first goal is to make a website and ebooks for an industry that I am very familiar with. The website will help to sell the ebooks as well as a forum where I can answer questions etc.
It seems to me in this increasingly competitive web-space a professionally designed website will be worth more then something I can jimmy together. Is it okay to test the waters with a mediocre website and if demand is there upgrade or will a mediocre website not generate any meaningful traffic because it sucks etc. Also is SEO something that I can learn myself with minimal computer skills or is outsourcing the best way. Any insight would be much appreciated.
