I started my fastlane journey without realizing it this past year. Reading TMF put a sparkle in my eye and reassured my plan.
I'm the typical slowlaner. Trading 5 for 2. Spending precious time commuting.
Oddly, what started me down the fastlane was CA's medical tyranny. I thought, "If the gov't is going to tell me what to do with mine or my kids bodies, i'm outta here! And on top of that, screw this traffic, screw being exhausted all the time, screw not seeing my kids, there has to be a better way"
And so it began. We are planning to sell our house, quit our jobs and move out of CA.
With the equity of our house, we are able to:

- Purchase a house with land
- With that land, we are able to become self sustaining (Chicken coop, garden, put in a well, etc)
- Pay off our existing debts
- Put aside enough savings for a full years mortgage, bills, etc.
- Have enough to finance our side gig (Trade 2 or 3 for 5 or 4) for some income
- And more importantly, we will have TIME to invest in our fastlane
With that being said, I have to go post something on the inside!!
