I know some of you run Instagram automation tools, so I just wanted to share a tactic that's been working really well for me. Here it is:
When unfollowing users, also have the bot like targeted images. Then, switch your account to private. This way, when someone sees, oh @AgainstAllOdds liked my pic, they'll click through to your profile. All they'll see on the profile is the # of followers, and your bio. If they want to see your pictures, then they have to follow.
From my experience, this is incentive enough for someone to opt into following.
Not a lot of followers from this, but a good 30-40 a day vs the 10ish when unfollowing normally. That's roughly an extra 5-10k followers a year.
