My journey to where I stand today has been anything but easy. Life has thrown its fair share of challenges my way, but I've managed to stay on my feet, driven by resilience and the determination to keep pushing forward.
Let me share a bit about my background: From my high school days, I’ve had a passion for buying and selling. That’s when my entrepreneurial spirit truly ignited. My first venture was importing products from overseas and selling them to friends and family. Slowly, I expanded to online sales in the early days of eBay—back when there was no PayPal, and you had to mail money orders (wild days). Sure I made a few bucks, but one thing that I lacked was proper guidance to stay on the course.
I pivoted towards a more traditional path: I went to university, graduated, and entered the corporate world, joining a Fortune 500 company. Since then, I've been steadily climbing the corporate ladder, managing some of the biggest national brands, and working with major retailers across Canada. But to be honest, there are days when I feel like I’m underutilizing my potential, yearning to create something meaningful for myself rather than just building value for someone else. At the moment I can't leave the job, as it provides the means to our little growing family.
Despite these commitments, my entrepreneurial spirit never faded. That’s why my wife and I recently co-founded an e-commerce business. The journey so far has been full of hurdles, but I constantly remind myself that "Rome wasn't built in a day." We're in it for the long haul, driven by our vision and passion.
