I live in Paris France, I am a serial entrepreneur, I like to be financially free as well as challenges. I have tried many types of startups some did poorly, some were better.
But I have come to notice that building product is much more risky and hard to do than building SERVICES.
for years I have insisted on building products because it is challenging and I can build the one that I want, not the one that the client wants.
However, I discovered the hard way that no one gives a damn to the product I build no matter how passionate I am for it if he/she does not see that it will solve their problem.
In recent years I reluctantly switched to IT SERVICES startup and it is doing good, but the problem of such an approach is scalability, it is hard to scale it as someone would imagine, because you have to convince each client, and you have to adapt to each client's needs...
