Hello everyone,
My name is Jennifer, and my journey into the world of business began on a schoolyard sidewalk during a break. While sitting on the curb, my classmates asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. Without hesitation, I said, “An entrepreneur.”
Over time, that goal faded into the background as life happened. But years later, during my university studies, I reconnected with that dream. While working a part-time job, I met a colleague, and together, we founded a fintech startup—a search engine, essentially. One day, we received an unexpected email: a large corporation wanted to buy our company. At that time, we weren’t generating a single cent in revenue. Still, I negotiated the offer higher, and in the end, we sold it.
Looking back, it was a great deal. As a young person, having that kind of money felt amazing, but more than that, it gave me a sense of inner peace and freedom at that stage of my life. The years passed, and I invested one-third of the money while using the rest to chase adventures.
Traveling is my passion—especially solo trips. Some of my favorite memories include shark diving and skydiving in Hawaii, a camper tour through Italy, a cross-country skiing expedition in Norway’s Finnmark region, a road trip through Ireland, and even a spontaneous one-night motorcycle trip to Paris. For me, money means freedom, though I’ve learned that it can intimidate others. Despite being one of the kindest people you’ll meet, I’ve realized that my interests set me apart. While I get along with many, I don’t have close friends who share the same passions.
Now, as my funds are running low, I’m building something new. I’m at a crossroads between two exciting options:
1. Starting a fitness studio with my siblings (we have a great relationship)
2. Launching a new business, beginning with dropshipping and evolving it into a distinct brand (i already started but didn’t focused on it)
I’ve already dabbled in dropshipping and was amazed at how well it worked. It’s clear that Option 2 would be less demanding than opening a gym. As I write this, I think I’ve already made up my mind—but I’m always open to hearing fresh perspectives and making new connections.
Looking forward to connecting with you all!
Warm regards,
Jennifer
