Hello Everyone,
My name is Austin and I am new to the forum. I stumbled onto MJ's first book about a month ago and read it in about a week after I started it. The information and perspective of that book is essential to my development and for that MJ, I thank you. As a 21 year old who has always had pieces the fastlane puzzle, but never enough to make any sense of it, the book was extremely refreshing. I immediately felt like I could trust the information I was consuming. I look forward to reading MJ's second book.
Before I truly embraced the idea of taking a route "off the beaten path", I had a strong gut feeling that it would be wise to build an online business. After reading the Millionaire Fastlane , I believe my gut feeling was correct. However searching for truths in an ocean of fake gurus and BS has been taxing on my confidence, and often I feel as if my progress is behind where it should be. The pressure of wanting to get my fastlane ball rolling weighs heavy on my mind. While I have acquired more pieces to this puzzle, I still look at them with a blank face. I have not started any businesses because I want my first one to be built on a strong foundation of knowledge and potential.
As I write this I can't help but feel like a toddler walking into a high school. There are a few questions I'd like to ask to anybody experienced and kind enough to give me some insight;
1.) If you are along your path of internet business, how did you initially choose your path?
2.) What are some skills that are vital to starting on online business?
3.) What is your best piece of advice to someone trying to get into internet business at an entry level?
I feel like I should state that by no means am I looking for someone to give me all the answers. I understand this path is not easy and requires trial and error, commitment and perseverance. It is a path that I most likely will have to walk alone for the most part. I am simply a little lost at the moment. As the clock ticks I question myself and my dreams because even though I am always thinking about these things and trying to educate myself I have nothing to show for it right now.
To anyone who reads this and replies, I would like to say thank you in advance. I appreciate any input, positive or negative. And MJ, thank you so much for writing about this topic. It has really made me feel like my dreams are possible. When I do find my way, I will not forget the part you played in it.
Thank you,
Austin
