Hey everyone. Just finished up Millionaire Fastlane . It was a great read and helped confirm that I am on the right path with a business I started a few years ago! I really like the idea of using the market to pay you vs. using it to build wealth and I understand MJ's concept of utilizing fixed-income strategies once a large sum of money has been generated by your business.
But my question is this: what is the recommendation for what to do with $100,000-$500,000 WHILE you're working on generating the millions in your business? For someone that hasn't generated millions yet, where would be the best place to invest the hundreds of thousands he/she may have in the meantime? High yield savings account APY's are only at 0.4% APY right now. There has to be a better option than an high yield savings for where to put money while you're working on building your business?
I use Vanguard and have been reading about using something like Vanguard Tax-Exempt Bond ETF (VTEB) and/or Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF (BND) for this. Or should I be looking more into stock index funds?
