So I work for a company that has a Haz Mat division and helps cleanup nasty stuff. The head Haz guy came into my office and told me about how Iowa is in a state of emergency due to a bird flu outbreak.

"So far, an estimated 16 million egg-laying chickens in Iowa are in infected or presumed infected farm facilities - meaning that at least one-quarter of the state's flock will have to be killed and disposed of, state officials said."
It might not be glamorous, but there are 12,000 people there right now, with more being shipped in all the time, just to get bodies on the ground and kill birds... lol.
