Hi guys, I'm looking to purchase a domain.

The problem with it, is that the .com domain is taken by a Chinese name registry that doesn't use it.

I sent 3 emails to them over the past 4 weeks, and have had no response.

I want to create a brand name... but feel as though having .com.au (I'm in Australia) will not be as effective and trustworthy as a .com. A large part of my customer base/target market is in the US.

Any ideas on what to do?
