Is it worth it to start a dropshipping store for festive items?

E.g. Halloween, xmas etc.

Obviously, you'd expect a spike before the festive, but it'll be obsolete until next year.
Of course I know I could just change my inventory to something else after that, but it'll take a hella lot of work to upload everything, advertise it, plus competition etc., then re-do all the work again to another product after the festive, and I'm not sure if it'll be worth it for such a short spike in sales in the end.

Or is it better to put my efforts on more generic items I can sell all year around?
