I am more specifically looking at LinkedIn Recruiter Lite.

I am in the insurance and mutual funds sales industry. I will probably reach the maximum capacity of a solopreneur soon. The next step in scaling up this traditional business is through the recruitment path, to have people work under me.

Anyone signed up for premium accounts with them before? What's your experience?

There are 4 LinkedIn Premium plans (at least in the EU):

- "Career" gives a boost of visibility and attractiveness to get hired
- "Business" helps to develop your network
- "Sales Navigator Core" is basically all features needed to sell on LinkedIn
- "Recruiter/Recruiter Lite" is about headhunting and hiring

That being said and from my personal experience + a few discussions with other premium members, I can definitely say that only the two latter are useful.

"Career" is pointless. People don't need it to get a nice profile and to stay active, which will already boost their visibility (and so being contacted by HR people).

"Business" is kind of trash imo. You don't need it to grow your business or your network. Just interact with other people (comments, DMs) and post frequently to build your audience. I think it gives you a boost of visibility in the feed, but that's the main advantage.

On the other hand, "Sales Navigator Core" is really cool for anyone who wants to sell through LinkedIn. It's a great tool box for finding leads and contacting people with a better chance of success. I was subscribed to it and fully recommend it.

I've never used "Recruiter Lite" as I'm not into hiring people. I've had the opportunity to discuss with a few headhunters: all of them are subscribed to it. Seems to be a must have for screening candidates and contacting them without the usual limitations.

Hope this helps a bit!
