The Problem
French lead generation services aimed at contractors ALL make the contractors pay a fee for just passing on contact details of potential clients. There are many contractors complaining they've been sent dead leads or that they've spent more money on leads than they've got back in return, or that they're sick of paying for leads when most people are just window shopping etc etc. Of course, once the negative feedback gets about most contractors avoid using the lead gen sites like the plague.
From what I've seen the majority of people feeding these companies with money are the desperate start up contractors with no better ideas of how to find work effectively.
The (potential) Solution
A system whereby a lead gen company only charges contractors once they have signed or completed a contract.
The Enigma
If I was to start a service that hooked up contractors to homeowners and the contractors only paid for successful leads, how could I ensure they didn't cut me out the loop for my finders fee?
