Hey,
my name is Robert im 28 years old and from Germany. Why am i only joining this forum now? it's long overdue but i guess i wasnt miserable enough. I studied constructional engineering until halfway through it hit me, my life was all planed out! Get your "M.Eng." find i decent paying job, get a girlfriend -> propose start a family and grind somewhat 40 years - work your best years a job you hate for people you dislike in order to make living! To make a long story short i dropped out!
My life was all planned out at already such a young age that by itself was a scary thought and a painful glimpse into the future. That wasnt good enough! What about my goals, what about the life i always wanted and desired? Fear of failure and uncertainty made me sacrafice and settle for a mediocre life.
No one was to blame but myself! Yes, i was a total wuzz!
I dont know what exactly happened or maybe it was a combination of events but i woke up and im so thankful it was with 28 instead 30 years down the slowlane full of regret and pain.
I dont know where this journey will bring me but i can tell you that im excited to find out!
