It's been awhile since I've posted on here, and I think that reflects on my attitude.
Living on the sidewalk is an understatement.
I've made many poor decisions lately and hopefully found a job that can help me.
I'm just not sure about it.
Here's some cliffs:
- 14% comission
- draw system
- sales goals: %25,000 / month to avoid deficit
-Work as many hours as I want to build book of business
-Monthly draw @ $2000
Obv, this isn't fastlane.
My question is, can this job be worth putting in upwards of 60 hours a week to try and be a top salesman?
For me, it's all about the comission (which of course comes down to putting in the hours to study the ins and outs of this industrye and maintaining great client relationships).
So, I see the potential is there, but I wonder if there is there is a more fiscally rewarding sales job out there.
For example, I would be forced off of the sales floor to help customers load product in the evenings.
In many aspects, I operate as an independent business without the ability to meet the commandments of CONTROL, TIME, AND SCALE.
I am hesitant to include ENTRY because I plan on becoming #1.
Please share your thoughts. I am curious to learn more about sales, anything that I can apply to give me an edge. I would also like to know how much time is worth investing into this job. I'm willing to work open-close 6 nights a week.
