As you can guess, I'm new here.
To avoid the huge wall of text, here is a brief summery of how i got here.
So that's where I'm at ... Living at home (cheap rent), keeping my expenses down to a minimum and grinding away at my PC, while still keeping in shape and making sure i have proper breaks/time in the evenings for "me" so i don't run the risk of burning out, and i can tell you, I haven't been this happy in a long time 😀 knowing that "potentially" i won't have to struggle to pay of a mortgage for the rest of my life and there is a real possibility that, just maybe, i won't have to ever worry about money.
So that's pretty much it, for those that are into their cars, here's some links to what I've built and owned over the past 5 years, and regarding the social network niche ... you guessed it

- Had my dream job sine 17 (computer game designer)
- had an idea with great scale-ability, a social network niche that has been done before, but in all cases have failed.
- Got a few resolution on how to fix this.
- Tried working in my free time and weekends
- didn't work out, what with long hours at work + no free time + project is bigger than i first imagined, or at least, has grown to be
- put together a quick guesstimate, my idea "could" make a lot more money than my day job
- consider backup plan if it does fail - get another job, in a better location (with gf) + better pay, still doing what i love
- saved some money + shares coming in early next year, made sure this is finacially viable
- sold all of my assets that cost money just sitting there ... my cars ..
damn that was hard! still have one, but its not a required sell (but is still for sale) + nice to roll around in something pimp while i don't need money - quit job on good terms
- got a HUGE task list
- 1.5 months down the road, and I'm here
- still with about 3-4 months of work to do before I seek funding/partners
- stumbled across this forum when doing some research (no idea how this came up in my search!)
- figured i would stop by, have a place to share what I'm going through when needed and seek advice.
