Hey guys,
I just hit the "Publish" button for first time So one of the most repeated advice I have read is to include keywords in the book title. My book is a YA romance in a college setting, and my subtitle is "A college romance". However when I search for "College Romance" in the Kindle Store, my book is nowhere to be found, even though there is only one book with "College Romance" in the name, and all the following ones have unrelated names....
Is it because my sales rank is too low? Or would it help if I move "A college romance" to the title, so the title read"XXXXX: A college romance" and the subtitle is empty (and is there any danger of gaming Amazon system like that?)
And an unrelated question about categories:
I see these are different category paths, but what the heck is the difference between:
Kindle eBooks : Literature & Fiction : Literary Fiction : Romance
and just:
Kindle eBooks : Romance
What makes a book literary fiction?
Thank you!!
