I don't even know where to start but as the title suggests I was brought up by Korean parents in a very conservative mindset, I'm Korean as well. I had the opportunity to learn English and study at various international schools. Right now I'm in the process of taking a gap year and through that I read many books including The Millionare Fastlane. It was a profound book that put together what I was struggling to articulate.
The thing is this, I know for a fact if I don't act upon this book would be paper and ink. If anything, I have all these ideas but don't know where to start or just don't try enough.
I get into arguments with friends and family...and it's pointless because in the endgame the response is always "then get out of my house" or "what have you proven so far". If you didn't know already Koreans are HUGE HUGE college pursuers. They will put their children in the best tutors and classes to get them into the top tier college and eventually a 9-5 job at Samsung or some big stable company. And I have no issue with that at all, that's all they know and deem safe.
Stability is king in this world and surroundings, if my thoughts don't align with theirs its game F*cking over. The reality is I proved nothing at the age of 19 I am a nobody going to college is maybe not a bad choice and I never thought it was a bad choice. My parents are gon pay for it and there isn't a huge risk involved but only time is the thing taken away from me, not that I can't pursue this mindset in there... BUT a choice I have to make BECAUSE I have no choice. Let me emphasize that part, I either go to college or get kicked out of the house or go join the army. All three decisions coming at me GODSPEED. And I have no response for that. But one thing I know is that being normal and following the norm is not the key to wealth. Risk it fail and risk it again.
I can't interact with people and share this idea through their thick brains. But at the same time how am I different if all my ideas are in my head and there was no result... People I've talked to will usually say "you talk like you cracked some sorta code, yet your just like me". I have no response to that.
I am accepted into a Korean uni and a Australian one, I want to join the Special forces here but I am not strong enough, I want to keep pursuing the Fastlane but I don't have time or shelter. I am of course working on my strength and options but I just don't have enough time to qualify for the Navy seals in Korea called UDT. The best bet is for me to move into college and keep hammering this idea. That's about it, please if you read this far thank you and leave some advice for me or criticisms.
I have not a profound idea what to do right now and desperate to grab onto something, I am hungry for wealth. Nobody is going to give me the key to success I need to to struggle but on what do I struggle on what do I risk... I can spend eternity in this website looking for ways to apply those ideas and methods...and keep doing that until I realize I havent done anything
