My idea for my e-business is 'revolutionary', or that's at least what I hope.
It's as simple as genius, I like to think that!!!
Why do people download so much information products (like ebooks, dvds,..) illegal?? Because there are 'afraid' that what they buy isn't quality. Almost everyone wants to actually buy it if they know it's quality stuff.
Now it's a trend to give customers for a period a 'money back guarantee' but that doesn't help a lot because they must actually pay them before they get the product that they want, the bar is still too high.
But what if my website would pay it for them and in the end of the 'money back guarantee' the customer can choose to actually pay it or to give the product back. With that system the bar is very low because they can decide after they had read it of they will buy it or not.
Off course they must pay a small amount for this service but only if they choose to buy the product.
To protect the product I could lock it with a trail period for the 'money back guarantee' like they do the same with some software.
I could have at least three income sources from the website:
- ads
- affiliate
- the amount of money we get for the service we give them.
I think I have all the Commandments right?
The Commandment of Need:
Illegal downloading is a HUGE problem!!
The Commandment of Entry:
It is not the easiest thing to make it happen.
The Commandment of Control:
I would have three income sources where I have total control of one. It could be worse and it's better than just an affiliate website.
The Commandment of Scale:
I have a huge market and the potential customers are still climbing.
The Commandment of Time:
After the hard work in the beginning I can easily outsource it.
So that's the concept now I have two questions for you:
- What do you think about it? Have you any questions, doubts, tips for a young entrepreneur like my?
- How do I realize this idea from scratch? What do I need to consider??
