The lesson is to start from a need. And as MJ said, what's your number one problem right now?
I'm 18 now. And I'm LUCKY that I was born into a family where I don't have to think about the financial component at THIS POINT in TIME. I have been a professional athlete all my life (since I was 4 years old) and a year ago I read the book MJ Millionaire Fastlane and immediately said to myself: I want to be an entrepreneur. At that time, things were not going well in sports and I wanted to end my professional career because I did not see any results, although I trained every day. I started my own businesses, some failed, some went well, but I didn't understand why I didn't feel anything when I received the most cherished MONEY? I mean, it was just like, hooray, I got the money, even though I don't need it now and I'm not spending it anywhere. Yes, money itself is just a piece of paper, but you exchange it for your travels, emotions, moments, food, and so on. But there was no need for that. And it all ended quickly when a lot of problems were superimposed at the same time, I abandoned my business and that was it. I treated it like a hobby and didn't give 100%, which leads to the next lesson.
The lesson is, if you're not ready to fully "all in" your project, don't do it.
I started a business to make money, and even when I was looking for problems and creating value for customers... I ended up getting thanks from my customers in the form of money "WIN". And how did I feel when I got the money? Nothing, why do I need them? I don't have to pay my bills, buy food, or think about how to live tomorrow. And this is only thanks to my family, for which I am ready to bow down at her feet and say THANK YOU every day that I was born into such a family. But in the end, I'm doing business not because I need to take off some financial shackles, obligations, but simply because my inner EGO wanted it. Which I learned a lesson from. I will start any business when I need it. Of course, my situation is probably radically different from the users of this forum who need to withdraw financial obligations. But for this period of my life, I don't have them, yes, I understand that in the future I will have all these financial obligations, but at this point in my life I don't have them and I'm lucky. I have no special needs, I have food, I have clothes, I have a place to live, and I devote my whole life to sports. Travel? There is, since I travel to international tournaments, I don't really limit myself in anything, although I have quite a few needs and there is a word "budget" in our family. Perhaps it sounds like MJ said, "when a person reaches an average level of comfort, he doesn't want to strive anywhere else" (you can write your opinion at the bottom, what do you think about it). Just based on my experience, I didn't give my best in business, and it was just like some kind of game, hobby, difficulty. But the experience also showed me the following lesson.
The lesson is that business is not fun, but a damn difficult job. At each step, you will be stuck in the wheels. You thought it would take X time, but it takes 3x time. It's monotonous hard work, solving problems that get in your way. And yes, in the book (even books from MJ) everything is written conditionally. They tell you to act. Go ahead. Execution. But in fact, MJ writes - Don't sleep until morning, Tear up your a$$. Solving problems 24/7. And these are the realities of "entrepreneurship" that I am now realizing for myself. It's very fashionable to be an "entrepreneur" now, everyone thinks it's fun and money flows like a river, but no. It's a lonely job for months or even years, losing money, realizing that you've come up with complete shit and your "idea" doesn't work. In the books, everything is described CONDITIONALLY. But it is described as - Execution. Execution. Execution. Although in reality it's Sleepless nights, bust your a$$ to catch the first customer, no sales, loneliness, and so on.
As you may have noticed from my previous posts, I'm still young and stupid in some matters, but I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'm also learning on the way to growth, sorry for who I annoyed with my questions like "the best way to get rich" "why is it so easy to do, but there are so few millionaires?". I make mistakes, I admit them. I'm posting this in the form of my diary to track my progress and, of course, maybe help someone who is in the same situation as me and create value for you - a user of this forum.
