Leveling the playing field in Publishing

First of all, thanks MJ for welcoming me in the group. i have read the book months ago and ever since have applied it myself. i think i've found a need in the publishing niche' and would like to know what the fastlaners think about this. I recently wrote a book and thinking of publishing it in digital format. That's when I realized that there's a big problem that i think a found a solution for. i want to take it to the next level by distributing books and compete with the big boys. since i'm financially constrained (i hate to admit that i was on the pavement for the last 10 years of my adult life), i ran a campaign on indiegogo here. i built the website on lunch money and would like to hire people with knowledge that i lack. it's not a fastlane method but if i reach the target, then it'll be a major leap towards my goal.

have any of you guys experienced approaching angel investors? how was the experience? what are the usual demands? hope to hear from everyone soon.
