So my medical job in Cat Scan was cut one year ago today. Lucky for me I was building my business on the side since 2005. Now I am living my dream as a stock video producer. Yes I make money while I sleep. Now the question is Do I stay Exclusive with iStockphoto/Getty Images or do I build my own site and sell my clips. The catch is if I drop my exclusive status I lose over 50% income due to lower search rankings and a drop earnings % in from 35 to 20. iStock has an amazing reach and they do all the advertising which is less stress for me. Would I be better to write an ebook on how to shoot stock and make over 50k a year doing it? Is it crazy to be exclusive? Could I really make any money at this on my own in this competitive market? I am so glad not to be doing 9 to 5 to see my kids grow up and go when I want to as I earn money no matter what. These questions have daunted me for a few months and this place is full of knowledge!
