Have you ever play GTA? or my favorite, Chess?
I'm reading, unscripted , and so far I'm hooked. I've read an interesting line that resonated with me. To make it short, it basically said, life is a game, yet you rather play a fantasy game, but won't play the game of your life.
In chess, you think 2 or 3 steps ahead to outsmart your opponent. In GTA your online character has a 20 car garage, multiple condos, and nice clothes. Most importantly can do whatever you want him/her to do.
Why aren't you living your life like a GTA character minus the crime, of course?
In real life are you overweight but in GTA, you're fit?
Don't play video games, play the game called "your life."
In chess, you need to set up moves to put yourself in the best position to win. Why aren't are you doing that in real life?
I know it sucks to take on that 9-5 or to work for pennies or for free, but if it's going to put you the right position to eventually become self-made and build that business, get to it. If it's going to take you out of the rat race, get to it. If you gotta cold call, meet with clients, go to that seminar, go read that book or take that course, get to it.
