I am working on my next launch. I will be selling a product with a price point somewhere between $7-$20. I am still doing research on where to put this.
Right now I am building the site. My ideal customer is similar to one who would use a service like poopsenders.com. From a customer standpoint, signing up for a mailing list is pointless because in their eyes this is a once and done purchase. From my standpoint, people angry enough to spend money on their anger are priceless.
So what would be the best process from site entry to sale to build a list using aweber? Using the poopsenders example, it is not like they can offer a poop sample for the signup.
So am I better off to say, screw it, just get the sale and move on?
or Saying, screw it if it lowers the number of sales, the email list is too valuable to pass up? (if you recommend this, then how would each step of the process look to you?)
or is there option 3 that I have not considered.
