Hello, I guess I never posted my intro? I'm getting popups saying so and if there's one thing I've learned on the net in 30 years, popups never lie!
I'm early 50s, more than average number of children (some adults/some not), and am currently in I.T. for a manufacturer. Have worked remote for many years. Have built/managed too many websites to remember and am currently learning some new tech to build out a few (worthless per FLM) "ideas" so that they will be executed ideas, not just gnawing ideas. But won't be over-learning, just learning enough to get the wheels off the ground.
Really love FLM and am starting Book 2 later this week. The "family empire" comes from my goal mindset (will check out GoalSumo.com for which I also received a commanding popup) and part of the FLM concept of 'why do I want to be wealthy?', which is to give my children more direction/example to succeed in the real world (and they all got FLM books for Christmas a few years back). We all talk about business quite a bit, but I don't want them to be salaried worker ants forever (even though they all have awesome careers ongoing at the moment).
Do I want fancy cars, too? No. I want restored gas-guzzling trucks instead. No Lambo for me, but I'll take a boxy diesel F-250 supercrew that will crawl over your lambo and park on top of it. Ha ha. No, seriously, I'd like to at least rent a Ferrari once or ten times, and maybe own a few more modest sports cars like a restored 67 Mustang. But first.... empire (queue the Queensryche song).
