So halfway through bringing my next product to market it looks like my relationship with my current manufacturer is starting to dry up. Response times have exceeded 7-10 days at times for answers to simple questions and some of the answers I have been getting are inconsistent with previous conversations.
Needless to say I have begun my search for a new manufacturer and have already called about 10-12 directly. I have had some great conversations and learned a lot but am still struggling...mainly because I haven't been able to touch the pricing my first manufacturer was giving.
I have posed this question to a mastermind I am in and received some responses that I am going to investigate further. But in the process of doing my due diligence I am welcome to any other suggestions, recommendations or referrals anyone may have. It never hurts to hear from people who may have a first hand experience.
If it helps, I am looking for a manufacturer that can private label serums and oils for skin and hair care. Ideally I would like to work with a US manufacturer, but Canada is an option as well. They would also have to be able to deal in lower minimum order quantities (less than 1000 units).
