Hey everyone,
I'm tired of rattling this one around inside my own head, so I thought I'd put it down here and see what you have to say about it.
I'm in the Qigong niche, I've written a book on Qigong, I've built a 22 week micro continuity qigong home study course, I've a blog with over 150 posts on it, I've over 10 years experience of practicing Qigong, and 7 years of teaching it, I've created the PERFECT Qigong System to help students pick up the skills of Qigong faster, so they can get the benefits quicker and easier too..
Now, I am certain that there is a need for Qigong, it is the Chinese art of energy and is brilliant for improving health, increasing vitality, and a powerful tool for mental and spiritual cultivation. It is also a mind blowing method for increasing stress resistance.
It's easier to learn than tai chi, less strenuous than yoga, gives faster - easier (and in my opinion) - better results than both of them put together AND requires virtually zero athleticism. It also doesn't need any extra equipment or props, no expensive supplements and can be practiced pretty much any where you happen to find yourself.
Here's the big stinky but (you knew there had to be one right?)
I'm lucky if I make £300 pound sterling a month. Why is Qigong such a hard sell?
What do you think? Try option 1? Or maybe start an education campaign? Or maybe something I haven't even thought of because I'm sat right on top of it all and can't 'see the wood for the trees'.
Please share your thoughts on this I'd love to know what you think. Thank you in advance for your time and here's to a great weekend.
Bye for now
Marcus

- Is it the term Qigong itself - have you ever heard of it? Would I be better focusing on just one aspect of Qigong e.g. It's stress busting capabilities and focusing on that, but rebranding it and talking about it, not as Qigong, but as The Ultimate Stress Busting Tool?
- Is it a lack of education of the market? - I'm sure there are millions of people who feel they need to improve their health or want to increase their vitality/energy. But I'm also sure they don't know that Qigong is the answer to their needs/wants.
