If you're like me and need as time as possible to work on your business and are willing to do what it takes, one way to pay your bills with minimal time input is clinical trials. I know tons of people out there will shake their head at the thought of being a guinea pig, but if you do your research and choose carefully, you can pull in bank while you work on your business. If you shake your head at the idea, then good. You're the reason I don't have any competiton for these bags.
I specifically do recreational abuse potential studies, where they are researching the addictive potential of prescription drugs currently on the market. I pick and choose carefully to make sure what I'm taking is safe, and get paid essentially for my opinion on how much 'fun' a drug is to take. Not only that, but you get to help science while doing so!
How much does it pay? The ones I do pay anywhere between $500 - $550 a day after tax, and run anywhere between 12 to 20 days, typically spread out over 1 to 2 months. That comes out to between 3 to 4.5 thousand a month usually. The clinics I go to are 4 hours away by drive, but they even reimburse my gas expenses for every trip! Not bad for only about 6 or 7 days a month of being at the clinic.
I bring my computer with me and work on the application I'm building while I'm there, and as long as you're cool with getting an IV catheter for blood draws in your arm, it can make working on your business very comfortable.
