This post is very personal, all my life everybody told me that success is hard and failure is easy and you know, it is very logical and how can you not agree if the craving to do bad habits is stronger than you and when you wanna actually accomplish something meaningful the "lazy" feelings get in the way, everybody interprets it this way and why not you too if everyone is into this mindset?
I lived struggling with my "bad" habits and trying to get "good" habits and often skipping them, some may say that this is a lack of discipline and they'll be right in their own way, for me it's simply an ineffective approach towards life or an obstacle, as Seneca once said "We struggle more in imagination, than in reality" and it's totally agreed.
What's the cure of that, how to heal from this endless cycle of bad and good behaviour, hard and easy work so much, that everything becomes so easy, that you feel stupid not doing it, well by guess by yourself what?
By creating a system where everything is so easy, that you feel stupid not doing it.
In order to do that you gotta understand and realize, that all your beliefs and opinion is something that is highly affected by your childhood and realize where your belief about something being hard or what is the pain or why discomfort is actually discomfort for you when it's actually much comfortable than what people perceive as comfortable, all this bullshit is from our parents, school, government and you gotta stop believing in it at all.
What do you want in life?
Maybe you want a perfect relationship with a perfect girl from your dreams, maybe you want to create a successful business and sell it, maybe you want to ger a perfect body and maybe you want to read a ton of books and etc.
What do you need to do?
Now forget about everything and write about what do you need to do, maybe exercise two hours a day, get ten numbers everyday, make one hundred calls and etc.
How to make it so easy, that you wil feel stupid resisting it?
Instead of doing full workout you can do simply a one push-up, instead of getting ten numbers, you can simply say "Hi" to any girl, instead of making one hundred calls you can make one and etc.
Explanation.
This is how momentum works, by lowering the resistance you will turn a task to it's actual form and then by doing the task even for one seconod you'll get motivation to do more and so on.
