Making a mother business with little children

Hi guys,

So I'm seeking advice and more information on creating a mother business with lot of children. So you have a specific niche and that niche produces more children and more companies. How should one approach this? What knowledge do you have of this and is it beneficial?

So the company I'm thinking to create of has one goal and one purpose to achieve by making little children companies. So one massive corporation is like a umbrella for the smaller companies.

Examples are like Bugatti veyron are owned by volkswagen group it's a parent organization. The company I want to create is not going to be specific set of niche like "Cars" it's going to include all types of services but the goal will be for a specific community of people what do you think about that?
