As I sit here at the computer, twiddling my thumbs over what the heck to write about (I feel like I need to start my time here with a bang), I am realizing how out of my comfort zone actually posting on social media is. I am willing to sit back and be a consumer, but am not willing to put anything about ME out there. So let's start here and now...
Hi, my name is Jacob Losco, and I am a freshman in college. My thought has very much been that of a slow laner my entire life: I always assumed that it was my lot in life to get a job as a software developer for some company and run out the clock on my existence with a wife, 2 kids, and a dog. However, I feel constantly overshadowed and outclassed by others of my profession. But instead of using this power to motivate me to become better, I let it depress me.
it took many catalysts for me to realize how much my life is capable of if I would only take the reigns. Unscripted was one of those, and it led me to take some steps in my first year of college that I did not think I was even possible of.
So yeah, the grind does not stop, and I am going to commit to being a member of this forum at least once a day, if not more.
I'm looking forward to expanding my network and skills through this community!
