A few months back, a friend from college invited me to a recruitment meeting for Ardyss International. I passed on the opportunity because I did not see it as something I could own.
Fast forward to this past June and I see an advertisement for a reality show about "amateur millionaires" The show's producers are very careful to remain vague about how much money these amateurs actually have and they are also vague about how they made their money. I know from personal experience that the leader of the group (Dorothy Cook) is a top recruiter/seller of Ardyss products. the show: Centric - All Videos - Amateur Millionaire's Club: Amateur Millionaire's Club Episode One check out the advertising techniques. This is a new form of infomercial.
I just wanted to highligt the technique of the Ardyss company. They glamorize and highlight a few power platers under the guise of entertainment (the show is pretty entertaining) when it is actually a marketing ploy to recruit more MLM customers/sales reps. I admire the drive and enthusiasm of the network marketers. however, if they applied that same drive to what would be their own fastlane businesses they would be unstoppable.
